The ALDO Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Jean-Simon Fortin as its Chief Financial Officer.

Jean-Simon joined the ALDO Group in 2020 as Vice-President of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). His drive, ability, and diligence led him to also assume key responsibilities in treasury, taxation, and strategy.

As a graduate of HEC Montréal and a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) of Canada, Jean-Simon worked at renowned companies such as EY, Keurig Canada, and Lumenpulse before joining the ALDO Group. His extensive expertise covers corporate and commercial finance, and mergers and acquisitions, both in the retail and manufacturing sectors.

In his new position, Jean-Simon will play a crucial role in providing financial and strategic leadership to help maximize value creation for the company. “During his time with the ALDO Group, Jean-Simon has proven himself as a leader, and the breadth and depth of his expertise make him a valuable addition to our executive committee, where his insight and guidance will be essential for the continued sustainable growth of the business,” said David Bensadoun, Chief Executive Officer.
