ALDO FIGHTS AIDS
From its inception in 1972, the ALDO Group was founded on the principles of love, respect and integrity. Beyond simply words, these are values that are instilled in everything we do. We have been involved in the fight against AIDS since the mid-80s when very few people and even fewer companies were willing to publicly support those affected by the disease.

Since then, the ALDO brand has actively worked to raise awareness and funds for the cause, through various product and marketing campaigns, partnerships with celebrities including Penelope Cruz, Ludacris, Charlize Theron, and John Mayer, as well as annual charitable donations through ALDO FIGHTS AIDS.

EDUCATION FOR ALL - ALDO x GLOBAL CITIZEN
Joining forces with Global Citizen, Aldo launched the “Give Back, Move Forward” campaign on #GivingTuesday, November 28, 2017. Global Citizen is an international advocacy organization and their “Education for All” campaign is geared towards supporting the movement to help 264 million children gain access to education worldwide.

Aldo’s genderless sneaker Mx. first launched in August 2017 with a message of equality and unity. With its purpose being extended towards this campaign, the aim was to elevate what the sneaker stands for and raise awareness for universal access to education.
