After being the first Canadian team to complete the Dakar Rally and appearing in the race for four consecutive years, Aldo Racing entered the Silk Way Rally for the first time ever in July 2016.

The team, comprised of the ALDO Group’s David Bensadoun and Patrick Beaulé, raced across 10,734 km from Moscow to Beijing. Being the only team to represent Canada, the duo finished in an impressive 12th place out of 99 teams competing in the rally.
In both the Silk Way Rally and the Dakar Rally, the Aldo Racing team has brought awareness to and built support for Aldo Fights AIDS.

The Aldo Racing team finished the Dakar race as the Top Rookie Team and the first Canadians to ever finish the race in the car class in 2012. In 2015, the team finished in 32nd position—their best ranking to date.
